Steve Scalfati’s Birthday
Many, many years ago on this day IQ Beats main-man Steven Paul Scalfati was welcomed in to this world in the most unlikely of places… Mombasa, Kenya. Mombasa turned out to be a bust (the surfing on that part of the Indian Ocean never lived up to the hype) so Steve’s early years were spent in Tehran, Iran. Um, I don’t know about you, but my guess is that there wasn’t a whole lot of Super Mario Bros., G.I. Joe or Garfield happening. Steve is quietly spending this birthday behind his Roland V-Synth and in front of Digital Performer working for Martin Dumschat, Arno Müller and the rest of the crew at Berlin’s RTL.

this is only for steve - if at all possible. will stay cryptic in case.
had no idea you turned that sax into such success - no surprise with your creative genius - wish i’d known you were in l.a. in august - would have rented a ‘66 racing yellow ducati (since mine is still in seattle), ridden it up on the sidewalk to distract you from the ‘reelworld’ and asked you to get on. of course such conduct wouldn’t raise an eyebrow in l.a….
wondering if amazonian women standing at 6′3″ are the only ones capturing your attention these days, or if almost 5′10″ would still suffice.
glad you’re well & would like to know more but only in a more discreet medium - at least an email account….
the grey hair suits you.
