Another Reason CDs Suck
In the ongoing saga of Kip’s photography obsession, he came across this blogpost over at The Online Photographer as part of the daily diet of useful info streaming into his Google Reader. It’s not too far down the relevancy chain for all of our pals in radio IMHO.
A bit off-topic (but then, as you know, I’ve said many times in the past that music can’t be off-topic for life)…here’s a nice little explanation of recording compression, from FUNL. Might be of interest to you if you’re not already way too familiar with the concept from listening to endless poor recordings of modern pop.
