Scalfati in L.A.
In spite of having a Stevie Nicks remix for “Edge of Seventeen” sitting face up in his computer as well as being firmly entrenched in producing a new custom package for Berlin’s 104.6 RTL, duty calls and Steve had to jet down to L.A. to record some talent quite unlike any we have here in Seattle.
We can’t really share any details about this right now ‘cuz it’s hush hush, but we’ll leak that it is for radio, but certainly not your average radio ID. And what or who might this talent be? Ditto on keeping it secret. We’ll share as soon as we can. If you haven’t, perhaps now is a good time to subscribe to our feed so that you don’t miss any of the juicy bits showing up frequently.
Like a jingle ninja on a clandestine operation, Steve took one for the team and headed out on the town with a scads of scores prepared by Robert Puff, and went looking to interface with the locals shortly after arrival. This SMS came in from Steve on the IQ blotter last night at 10:33PM:
A shot of tequila and a beer… 21 dollars. A plethra of 6’3″ amazonian women in all colors of the rainbow with an abundance of silicon and nothing to say… recording in LA, Priceless!
We don’t care how expensive the shots and beer are or how hot or tall the amazonian women are… Have fun but please manage to come home with the files from the session intact!
