Back From Chicago
Never one to rest on their laurels, IQ Beats head honchos Michael Berlin and Steve Scalfati have just returned from a whirlwind business trip to Chicago for a meeting with some fellow radio industry people that shall remain nameless at this point.
All we can share for now is that the meetings were positive and that if things progress, the radio world has definitely got something great to look forward to.
But back to the IQ boys being in Chi-town… The sad truth is that they didn’t even make it out of the O’Hare complex. I’d like to tell you about them catching a Cubs game at Wrigley, hanging out on set with Oprah, eating large at Smith & Wollensky, sampling fine tequilas at Zocalo Restaurant or catching the infamous Slick Rick at the Metro, but there’s nothing of that nature to tell.
With nothing but meetings conducted at their hotel airport, it was all work and no play for the IQ top brass. Better luck next time boys.
