IQ at Keith Urban Show

10th Row - What a Show! After a quick gnosh and martini session at Lower Queen Anne hotspot Tini Big’s, the IQ Country contingent headed down to Seattle’s Key Arena to take in the Keith Urban show. The guys here are big fans due to the genuine talent that this guy has got: Writes his own songs, co-produces his records, and is basically a shreddin’ guitar god.

There was a big industry schmooze-fest happening before the show where IQ’s Kip Beelman and Michael Berlin chatted it up with all of our fave friends over at 100.7 The Wolf: APD and on-air talent Mr. Rob Walker, Fitz of Fitz in the Morning, Morning show producer Jaeger, Wolf promo goddess Susie Wentz, morning show team member Kristen, jock Sean Kramer and the newest member of the Seattle Wolf family… Mr. Lance Tidwell, or Mr. New Program Director to you. Also in our group was KWJJ’s PD Mike Moore and latest recipient of our 100.7 The Wolf package.

Keith was in top form and put on an amazing show. We’re still stunned that he does ALL of the heavy lifting himself by taking every single lead lick and guitar solo throughout the entire show. Being a guitarist in Keith’s band seems like a pretty easy gig considering that it’s basically to stand up there and play rhythm guitar all night. The Wreckers opened and put on a nice and tidy little set too.
