Announcing Kix 106 – WGKX
When Tim Jones of Kix 106 in Memphis came to us for a new jingle package, we were absolutely thrilled to help him image the city’s Country heritage leader on the eve of it’s 25th anniversary.
The package is built on 5 main themes with cuts for: Top of Hour, Traffic, Weather, and Morning Show. The vocals are slick and smooth with clear leads for the open sings and hot group vocals on the ends… All hot off the Dallas presses.
Pedal steel and fiddle from two of Nashville’s top session musicians (Russ Pahl and Jonathan Yudkin respectively) compliment the guitar riffery and goodtime grooves of composer/producer Dudley Taft for a musical signature that is right in step with today’s Country and the pulse of Memphis.
