KAWO Custom Imaging
A ways back we shared here that we made some custom imaging for Scott Mahalick at KBWF in San Francisco that we were calling Kickers.
He has continued to commission more over the past year but Rick Stewart at Boise’s KAWO - Wow! Country 104-3 has REALLY taken to the Kicker concept and has now got 25 of them in addition to a bunch of other custom production.
In the montage below you’ll hear examples of a basic Kicker with a beat stringing together three hit Country tunes bookended by interchangeable station voice alongside a more elaborate version that has custom sung vocals over the intros to hit tunes to further a station’s imaging possibilities.
There are even a few custom pieces to check out based on “Atomic Dog” by Parliament/George Clinton and “We Will Rock You” by Queen.

I gotta say Kip & Michael at IQ Beats are amazing. Thank you Kip for all your hard work on the WOW package.
