95.8 Capital FM
After months of planning, writing and recording IQ Beats are extremely proud to announce our latest custom music-imaging package for the world famous 95.8 Capital FM is now on air.
When new owners Global Radio took the reigns of one of the most well know stations in the world, it was their top priority to get the station moving forward once again. After getting a vision from Director of Broadcasting Richard Park, it was onto the plane for Steven, Patrick and Michael and a visit to the legendary studios in London’s Leicester Square to spend the day at Capital and really get a feel for the station.
It was an unusually early start for the boys (not normally seen till lunchtime), but well worth it after the good times sitting in with Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon on the Capital Breakfast Show
The brief was taken from Capital’s Programme Director Paul Jackson and over the course of the project we have been incredibly fortunate to have nearly unlimited access to Richard Park and Group CEO Ashley Tabor, both of which have provided valuable input on this project. Access to so many experienced and passionate individuals has resulted in what can only be described as a breathtaking array of cuts, beds, logos, talk-overs and IDs with our 95.8 Capital FM package for 2009 being one of our strongest to date.
We are holding on to the package for now, but you can hear a small selection of the cuts now on air at www.capitalfm.com. All will be revealed soon with a few surprises too. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the kind words… As the package is trickling slowly on air, we’re waiting until all the cuts have been deployed by Capital. So we wait.

Blimey, it’s like being a Jehovah’s witness and waiting for the second coming!! They kept telling me it would happen soon and it never did, I gave up in the end and became a scientologist, ha ha!
Can’t you at least put a few of the cuts that HAVE aired already on your blog page like you have with the new Heart feelgood friday cuts (lovin’ your work by the way)! Go on, you know you want to!

COME ON! Surely they’ve used all of them by now. I’ve heard at least 10 different versions, as well as the news/travel/sport. Please just upload them!

That’s a bit strong Jamie, after all it is their work, and when they upload it (if at all) ultimately is totally up to them my friend. We are all eager to hear it, but there’s no need to be rude mate. Gentle persuasion is always the best policy, rudeness doesn’t tend to get you very far!!!

Hey folks… Glad you’re eager them, but we respect the wishes of our clients and only post things upon receiving a green light. With that said, I can say that there will be a light at the end of the tunnel soon.

They have been on the air since March…it’s almost July!!! With the finished roll-out of the Heart network, I really hope they’ll be posted this week. Although in reality, we probably won’t see them online until October 2011.
