Valentine’s Day love and awesome are in the air as 104.8 Channel 4 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates have just begun airing their new syndication of our 95.8 Capital FM jingle package. The Number 1 Music Variety station have taken the entire lot and the station is now running even hotter than Dubai’s high average of 103!

Our man on the ground at the station reports that all are thrilled with the package and had this to say…

I cannot even begin to tell you how delighted we are with this package. It has gone beyond our wildest expectations.

The creativity in the mixing, stuttering, adlibs, etc. is absolutely amazing and really defines it as a contemporary package.

Having produced a huge range of different packages over the years, the boys at IQ are never afraid of a challenge… So far having worked with two major orchestras (BBC Radio Manchester and LBC) and vocalists from Seattle, Nashville, Los Angeles and Europe it is fair to say that every project brings new excitement.

Gold 2010 is our latest achievement and one we are very proud to unveil. The package was commissioned by Global Radio to add some extra sparkle to their national network which plays the Greatest Hits of All Time – Gold.

This was another project that utilized the talents of the full team at IQ and some additional input from a legendary vocal arranger and copyist in Dallas, TX to nail the famous group vocal sound heard on legendary stations for decades.  Also adding sparkle to the package is real brass… Thanks, we WILL toot our own horn(s) thank you very much.

Some words from Adrian Stewart, Programme Director – Gold Network:

We have been evolving the sound of Gold over the last few months and wanted a unique jingle package that dovetailed beautifully into the refreshed playlist, it had to sound like nothing else you would find on the UK radio dial. Our new package certainly gives us the feel of a big classic hits heritage station coupled with the modern contemporary production values that we need in 2010.

The Gold package contains fast moving tracks with shotguns, shouts and a ton of edits to make the package really come alive on the air. There are talk ramps with plenty of space for presenters to create fast moving, energetic radio. There are really tight mixes to play between records and there is the usual news, travel and weather package you would come to expect from IQ Beats.

Get back to the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s.  Get back to the Greatest Hits of All Time.  Get Gold.

Managing Editor John Ryan and the fine folks at BBC Radio Manchester have begun airing some new themes to freshen up their original BBC Radio Manchester custom package from way back in the salad days of 2008 2007 2006.

Now in use are a new Top of Hour theme with updated Travel and Weather themes.

We are pleased to announce the debut of 99.7 EZ ROCK in Ottawa rolling out with our Heart Network 2 jingle package as their imaging choice.  They went for pretty much the entire lot and even commissioned jingles for their morning programming!  Thanks to all involved with the production of the package – It was great working with you!

Previously Astral Media took delivery of the first North American re-sing of our 95.8 Capital FM jingle package for Virgin Radio – Toronto and it has been great to work with them again.  Here’s from the official press release of the 99.7 EZ ROCK debut:

It’s a bit of a shame that the political process in the UK is only a month long… This Election Theme just made for LBC would have run for two years in the United States!!

The Election Theme was based off of the Main Theme from the 2008 LBC package that we created whilst Creative Director Chris Lowrie and Programme Director Jonathan Richards were in town to experience the orchestral recording and mixing of the new package.

Scott Sands, Program Director for Z99.5 WZPL in Indianapolis, IN has just rolled out a bangin’ version of our 95.8 Capital FM package that is even more winning than Manning and the Colts. The airing of the package also marks the debut of the Capital package in the U.S.

Their version is not without a special twist as it sees the creation of Super Shotgun length mixes of the cuts just the right size for dropping their call letters like they’re hot.┬á In addition to the music themes, ZPL are running the morning themes for the Smiley Breakfast Show and took Capital’s Summertime Ball theme and has refashioned it or their Request-A-Thon benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation.

Sorry that it’s been forever and a day since we’ve updated this thing.  We’ve been busy focusing on a couple of different custom packages that are in various stages of completion.

While we nurture those and inch them toward the finish line, have a listen to our 100.7 The Wolf package that 953 The Wolf in Watertown, NY started airing recently.

Two years ago we unleashed a bespoke package for 104.6 RTL – Berlin featuring the famous Kiss Chicago/Kiss Dallas logo and Arno und die RLT crew are back for more. m  As they say, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

The cuts feature a slightly more organic feel this time around and are the perfect foundation for Arno and the Morning Crew and the rest of Berlin’s Hit Radio to rock their mix of Hot AC across Berlin’s twelve boroughs.  12 ramps + 12 long stagers + 12 short stagers + 12 shotguns + 12 boroughs = Boom.sauce to the 12th power.

As with the first package, we’ve set-up a call center with operators standing by for you to order up your own version of that venerable 3 note logo that no one can seem to shake loose from their consciousness.

And a shout out is due to Michiel Lisseveld and Paul Gulmans at Music And Images for being the link that brought this package to fruition.  Things happen in 3′s, right?  Well, we’ve just done Fun Radio – France and RTL – Berlin… What else you got for us guys?

Boom-shaka-laka —-> Our muy bon amigos from Fun Radio France have hit us up for their 3rd installment of IQ awesomeness in the form of 15 new themes, all with an upbeat Electro-Dance feel.

With every cut being in a major key, Fun Radio is turning up the smile for listeners and relentlessly promoting their brand of Fun, Fun, Fun.  Turn frowns upside down in your market and get yo’ self a slice of the Fun.
